The origins of the Giorgi Estate date back to the 1870’s. Initially directed by ‘Grandfather Antonio’, he received more support for expanding the activity within the family by his son Giuseppe, an enterprising and determined man.
In 1955 with the death of her husband, ‘mamma Maria’ took over the reins of the company, and in spite of her having four small children, administered both the agricultural and commercial side of the company in a most admirable way. Consolidating the company and leaving a thriving business for her four children.
In 1970 began the activity at Vigalone, a small fraction of Canneto Pavese, the Giorgi brothers Gianfranco and Antonio, progressively imposing both their passion and tenacious minds, one the oenologist and marketing expert, the other constantly occupied into the building of an image of quality for their products.
Meanwhile, over the years the family team has grown, in fact Dott. Eleonora Giorgi, Dott. Fabiano Giorgi and his wife Dott. Ileana, have become active participants in the company bringing fresh ideas, encountering new challenges and stepping into new markets
