This is the story of the Avanzi family and its passion for the land. When this passion transformed into a business, much care and patience were necessary to produce such prestigious wines. This passion dates back to 1931 when Mr Giovanni Avanzi produced an excellent red wine from grapes cultivated on the Lake Garda west shore. The company grew, and the Avanzis decided to acquire the woderful seventeenth-century estate in Manerba del Garda, which would become the first important premise for the production of high quality red and rosè wines. A passion carried on in the 60's by the sons, Gianpietro and Alessandro, who contributed enthusiastically to the winery development. Nowadays, with the same care, Mister Giovanni's children and grandchildren keep on with the wine production. This passion, handed down through the generations, makes Avanzi a synonymous of tradition and quality in Garda wines production.
