Produced with Corvina, Rondinella and Corvinone grapes from Valpolicella Classica and dried for 80/100 days in special rooms (fruttai), Fracastoro ages in Slavonian oak barrels and partially in tonneaux.

Luminous garnet with good transparency. The nose offers a well-blended mix of fruity and balsamic-vegetal scents. Blackberry jam and berry syrup intersect first with mountain pine, then cinchona and rhubarb. In the background peony, sweet spice and a touch ematic. On the palate, the tannins are still tingling with vegetal tones, firmly holding back structure and warmth. The acidity also serves in this sense and gives verve to the long persistence with hints of blood orange. Ages for 48 months in tonneau and large casks.

Red meat, game, aged and hard cheese. Excellent also at the end of a meal, drunk alone. After some years of aging, it can also be proposed in combination with artisanal chocolate.
