Platone
Platone is a wine obtained from selected Negroamaro and Primitivo grapes, and from vines which are more than 75 years old.
The grapes are picked about 15 days later than normal time and this allow them ti reach greater ripennes. The wine which is thus obtained, is stored about eight months in barriques. The colour is intense red with purple shades. It is excellent with game steacks and roast meat.
