DESCRIPTION OF THE SOMMELIER
Arneis "Cecu d'la Biunda" is undoubtedly the flagship product of the Monchiero Carbone winery, the one that best represents the soul and identity of this project born in 2004 by the will of Francesco. A project driven by the desire to make Piedmontese whites compete with the great Italian whites; a project based on Arneis, a vine described by many as "the white Barolo" and which, together with Nebbiolo, has given fame to the Roero area.
A recognized nobility and considerable potential imply the obligation to cultivate it and make wine in the best possible way, to enhance the characteristics of these grapes that are born on the soft and calcareous soils of the Vezza Valley and the Rocche di Canale. Born as white Nebbiolo, a name that was given to emphasize its importance and structure, Arneis has found an elective territory in the Roero that manages to transfer intense aromas and fragrances that fascinate for their persistence and refinement.
