The Perricone is the most difficult grape variety, with small berries and uncertain yields that vary according to the vintage. The difficulty in adapting to the soil makes Pianoro Cuddia the only territory that manages to give the Perricone a high level of quality, resulting in a constant challenge for Firriato.
