GRAPE AND VINEYARD
Merlot, grown on the hills of the Montecchio area, has shown considerable
adaptation to the pedoclimatic characteristics of the area. The grapes reach
aging, maintaining a perfect state of health, an essential element for
the obtaining of a wine in which sulphites are not added.
THE WINE
It is carried out a rigorous selection of hand-picked grapes. The grapes are
subjected to a treatment that involves the lowering and the raising of the
temperature which leads to an 'inhibition of bacterial flora present on the skins. There
vinification is initiated by the inoculation of selected yeasts free environment
oxygen. The wine is aged in oak barrels, where it plays
completely malolactic fermentation.
THE WINE
Intense red with violet hues. Hints of ripe fruit, great olfactory persistence.
The taste has great structure and soft tannins.
