The history of Friuli Isonzo’s vineyards dates back to pre-Roman times. The
flat strip of land in the province of Gorizia, extending south of the hilly area
and bordering on the east with the rich Triestino and to the west by the Judrio
river descending towards the Adriatic Sea and the Lagoon of Grado, offers
wines known and appreciated since ancient times. The Ribolla gialla has gained
great success in recent years thanks to its freshness, versatile and food-friendly
character, suitable both as an aperitif or to accompany every meal.
Tasting notes
From an ancient, legacy grape bright straw yellow. The nose is redolent of
flowers nuances. Juicy and fresh give considerable taste lingering.
Food Pairing
Goes best with seafood and delicate fish dishes. Excellent with frittatas with
wild herbs (nettle, bladder campion, common hop…).
