Pinot Noir Grappa: Pinot Noir is one of the most important noble varieties of grapes, a classic red wine of vineyards in cooler climates. In northern Italy, including South Tyrol, the majority of cultivable land is used to grow this variety of red grapes, which have been cultivated here for over 150 years. Its juicy fruit-taste and thick structure lend themselves to the special, complex fullness of the Pinot Noir grappa. This pure specialty is distilled of pomace from small vineyards such as Stroblhof in Appiano sulla Strada del Vino.
Stylistics: The Pinot Noir Grappa smells of ripe cherries and wild berries with a hint of bitter almond. On the palate, it tastes surprisingly light, finely spiced, and refreshingly tart.
