This liqueur is made from rose petals. Previously, it was especially popular at the courts of the Kingdom of Austria-Hungary.

It was popular in all of Central Europe. From Budapest to Vienna, Venice and Trieste. People used to prepare it also at home. They took to the flowers of the house rose garden, which were washed and dried. The liqueur is flavored with a little vanilla and prepared with alcohol and sugar.
