Golan Heights Winery's Yarden Sauvignon Blanc is a balanced, accented and pure white wine from the Golan / Galilee wine region.
This wine appears in the glass in a bright yellow. On the nose an aromatic aroma of melon, lime and peach unfolds, combined with the exoticism of lychee, guava and passion fruit. Fresh mint and a bit of flint complete the scent. On the palate this white wine is fruity and deep with a medium body. A fresh and bright finish completes this characterful wine.
Yarden is Golan Heights Winery's leading brand under which annual flagship wines from the best grapes from the best locations are marketed. Yarden is also the Hebrew name for the Jordan River, which separates the Golan Heights and the Galilee. The label represents a symbol of ancient Israel: an oil lamp decorated with mosaics.

The vineyards for Sauvignon Blanc grapes are located in the cold north of the Golan Heights.
After the harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. There the must ferments in stainless steel tanks. Only a small percentage is aged in oak barrels so this wine gains in complexity and volume. The remaining white wine is harmoniously completed in stainless steel tanks.
