Notes Champagne Aÿ Grand Cru "Fut de Chene" Rosé is a rosé champagne produced with 6% Pinot Noir vinified in red 64% Pinot Noir vinified in white and 30% Chardonnay.
All the grapes come from the Grand Cru village of Aÿ, in the Vallée de la Marne. The Pinot Noir vinified in red comes from an old vineyard planted in the 1950s and the wine is fermented in terracotta amphorae. The rest of the cuvée is fermented and aged in wooden barriques from the Argonne forest (20% new).
After the second fermentation, the wine is aged in the bottle for at least 60 months before disgorging.
Salmon pink in color with coppery reflections. Champagne has aromas of red fruits, mandarin, orange and an important mineral note given by the chalky terroir of Aÿ. On the palate it is complex with smoky notes and good flavor. The dosage is 8 grams per liter.
