Weissburgunder Trocken - Hans Baer
Pinot Bianco, or Weissburgunder, as the Germans say, is a very versatile grape. Suitable to be worked in many different ways. Perfect as a base for great sparkling wines, as happens in our Franciacorta, it is a grape that manages to give life to still white wines of great pleasure. Like this one, produced by Hans Baer which certainly does not lack in typicality. In the glass it has a beautiful straw yellow color of medium intensity, clear and inviting. The nose is dominated by the finest aromas of white flowers, citrus and white pulp fruit. In the mouth, then, it surprises with its pleasant refreshing acidity, well balanced by a well-present but not excessive alcohol. It is a perfect wine to accompany a lunch or dinner with friends. Good today, it can safely age in the cellar for some time. Not too long, though.

There are many good winegrowers who, thanks to a unique mix of territory, soils and climate, produce wines of great interest. Rheinhessen, also known as the region of a thousand hills, is famous above all for the wines based on Müller-Thurgau, Riesling, Dornfelder, Silvaner, Portugieser and Pinot Noir, often vinified alone and indicated on the label. Hans Baer is a modern line of wines with a decidedly international flavor, produced with the rigor and classic German style. Two curiosities about the brand. Hans is one of the most common names in Germany, like our Carlo or Maria, while Baer, ​​the bear, is the symbol of the city of Berlin, taken as a model of modermity, hospitality and inclusion. The result is a fun logo that doesn't struggle to be recognized on the shelves.
