Tasting notes: Golden yellow color with amber reflections. On the nose it evokes aromas of very ripe fruit, raisins (raisins), citrus fruits, beeswax. Floral notes (accacia) with some vegetable notes (juniper, infusions). Brioche nuances. Very fruity it also reveals a very marked animal character (leather, smoked bacon). This surprising and happy duality is typical of this grand cru. With evolution, these atypical aromas for a Riesling disappear to give way to notes of ripe fruit (pear, quince). Good minerality. Dense, powerful wine with overripe aromas.
