The "Cask Finish" collection was born from the desire to enrich the Calvados line with products refined in barrels that had previously contained wines and spirits. Aimed at lovers of spirits, this very limited collection has been designed to surprise your palate and, above all, to make you happy!
Cider production: the apples are blended, split and pressed. The resulting apple juice is fully fermented, this gives the cider which is then distilled.
Distillation: a double distillation is carried out: the first distillation of the cider gives rise to the "small water". The second distillation of the "little eau" creates Calvados. Double distillation takes place 6 months after fermentation.
Upbringing: 6 years minimum. In 400 liter toasted oak barrels, 25% of which are new. Minimum finish of 5 months in 220L barrels that have contained Caroni Rhum.
Tasting Notes: Beautiful yellow color with deep golden reflections. Fine and complex nose, with hints of sugar cane and delicious aromas of toasted apple. Frank entry, powerful mouth sustained by aromas of cooked apples and fresh almonds, long and persistent finish. Slightly spicy sugar aromas.
