The Equinoxe Viognier Sauvignon cuvée is an elegant and complex white wine composed of 45% Sauvignon blanc, 50% Viognier and 10% Moscatel Petits Grains.
Its golden yellow color is bright with golden reflections. The bouquet is complex, powerful and elegant: the fruits, the flowers, the mineral (smoked) are wonderfully accompanied by a pleasant and well-controlled oak.
On the palate, the promise remains sweet, round, without harshness and a pleasant “acid” balance; the aromas are lovely with notes of vanilla, butter and a citrus and mineral finish.
Classic
Harvest between early and mid-September. Destemmed harvest.
Winemaking
Maceration of the skins for 12 hours, pressing and descending into the barrel.
Alcoholic fermentation in oak barrels (70%) and in vats (30%).
Aged for 9 months on lees with regular removal. The barrels are of different origins: 2/3 French and 1/3 American.
Aging potential
10 years and up
Food and wine pairings
